Harvest Festival 2011, The Gathering, Melbourne, Werribee Park on Flickr.
Two gals playing ‘spot the hipster’ at #Harvestaus
Our morning started with sandwich preparation with a nice weather, the day provide us sun and a nice breeze, in the kitchen lettuce, mustard, cheese and bacon. Our small backpacks were filled with water, blankets, sunscreen and some clothes for the night. We were worried for the return home, ‘cause we were using the train and Flaming Lips were closing the night just at the limit of time for the last service from Werribee to Melbourne.
We walked in direction of Smith Street to the ATM and then caught the tram. It was a perfect combination, in just 5 minutes we arrived to Parliament Station to play ‘spot the hipster’
The train was full of music lovers, hipsters and ‘people WTF is happening in this train’… as the station were further away, the city distances increased and it was amazing to see some hipsters saying good by to the train as they were leaving… it was drama… our thought was: ‘Oh! a hipster in this train is not going to Werribee, what a terrible feeling for that poor guy/gal’
Finally, after a month of speculations, fake lineup posters and more. The Chilean Lollapalooza has shown the Official Lineup.
Some friends are happy, some friends are disappointed. But if you take a good look it is not that bad, and if you are very far from the big Festivals it’s not bad at all!

Santiago, Chile will be vibrating next April 2th and 3th. The location, Parque O’Higgins, is a big park with a lot of facilities and arenas, arenas, near subway stations and you can also get there by car and
bus.
We were born in Santiago, if you have any questions, just ask!
Cheers!

Eating a cheese sandwich cut with a swiss knife in front of a thousand policeman, while the national guard band was playing “El Bolero de Ravel”, Vangelis and other appropriate themes for the change of the guard…
Cabanaconde lives after sunset, when everybody comes down after working in the fields. Restaurants and cocinerias (small local restaurants) are full of customers. The main square also gets it’s share of women selling bread and warm beverages.
In all this area people listen to music similar to Wendy Sulca’s ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=693m7iCh-TE
) You can see a lot of children happily dancing to it. You have 2 choices: get used to it or use earplugs.
