After one month in google hell we decided to actualize the blog. We did a big effort writing about the mega earthquake but someone put us in hell (banned from google search results).
Now we are in Concepcion, for one week we visited coastal cities damaged by the tsunami. We met wonderful pleople, working, cleaning their houses, markets… building a new home, etc.
It’s admirable how this people are recovering so fast after the catastrophe.
We visited Lota, Coronel, Maule, Caleta Lenga, Schwager, Penco, Lirquen, Hualpen, etc.

Sweet Lima, Peru
Our last afternoon in Arequipa was dedicated to find something sweeeeeet, saddly we couldn´t find anything :( just a disapointing queso helado (ice cream)
The road to Lima was replete of curves, and in the middle of the night when almost all the people was sleeping the bus drivers competed against each others almost like Monaco Grand Prix xD
We woke up in the middle of the desert, when I looked out the window and saw a tinny malnourished girl walking in a garbage dump in Tupac Amaru village.
Before midday Lima appeared, grey, contaminated and sad. Shop windows distract you from this, offering you good meals and sweets :p
In our way to the next bus we found heaven!!! A sweets shop offering suspiro a la limeña (picture), leche asada, cocadas, etc. It was :D
We needed to renew our ISIC Card, so we went to Intej (Sto. Domingo 123, 4th floor, Arequipa) They were very friendly and helpful, if you have all your documents, they can give you your ID inmediately.
We didn’t have a picture so we went to Estudio Fotográfico Digital Montecinos (Galería del Ex-Banco Popular Arequipa, San Juan de Dios nº 120) They take de pictures very fast and charge a fair price.
While we were waiting for the pictures, we had the chance to see how they worked, impressive really! if you ever want to photoshop something or someone, go there, from make up to clothes…
