Corrida Bicentenario (Bicentenary Running) at Santiago, Chile

Corrida Bicentenario Santiago, Chile

During this year of Bicentenary in Chile lots of sportive activities are taking place. Today was one of the most expected: Bicentenary Running (Corrida Bicentenario)

In one of the most classic districts of Santiago, Nunoa, more than 7 thousand runners celebrated the bicentenary running 10 Km.

My family went to the party and told me that it was a great event, with very motivated people and families around there. My father and brother ran all the way in good times. They are very sportive people, both play tennis and my brother is member of a college rugby team.

I’m very happy because he suffered a medical procedure a few weeks ago in his back and now he is recovering all his force. And of course, I’m very glad about my father who is a running lover.

Yesterday was a day that divided some people in Chile (anniversary of the 1973 state coup ), but today just started a new week, and we must celebrate the beginning of our independence.
